Cessna.Rent, with registered office located in Belgium, undertakes to respect and carefully comply with the European privacy legislation AVG (General Data Protection Regulation)¹ for the protection of personal data. These regulations apply as of May 25, 2018. Personal data will be treated in accordance with this legislation.

Your consent

Cessna.Rent processes personal data only to comply with a legal obligation or if provided for the performance of an agreement. By doing so, you expressly authorize Cessna.Rent to process your personal data for the intended purposes. Personal data is only processed in secure environments and systems. These are not accessible to the public. All our employees are also given clear guidelines and made aware of the handling and processing of your personal data.

Use of your personal data

Cessna.Rent guarantees that:

• your personal data is collected and processed only to carry out the task you have requested or to comply with legal services;

• your personal data will only be processed in a country belonging to the European Union;

• the processing of your personal data is limited to its intended purpose;

• keep your personal data only for the period of service provision, unless a longer legal retention period is required;

• your personal data may only be passed on to other organizations, in order to comply with legal obligations, or at the express request of judicial or police authorities;

• in no other case will your personal data be passed on to third parties, nor will it be used for direct marketing purposes.

Your rights as a data subject

You always have the (legal) right to inspect your personal data.
You always have the (legal) right to complete or correct all or part of your personal data. If Cessna.rent no longer has any legal grounds regarding the further processing of your data, or if your data is no longer necessary for the intended service, you have the right to have your personal data deleted.

Questions regarding the processing of your personal data or requests regarding the data we process for you can be directed to the business manager. This can be done by sending an e-mail to fly@cessnarent.be. We undertake to answer your question or request within 20 working days.

If you believe that your data is being unlawfully processed, you may also contact the CBPL (Commission for the Protection of Privacy), also called the Privacy Commission, at any time at the e-mail address commission@privacycommission.be.
